Nov. 17, 2021 - Today I am really feeling appreciation for the fact that I am here, teaching yoga. It’s somewhat amazing, and weird, and not a place I ever thought I’d end up. I feel very lucky, and, at the same time, this time of year is pretty stressful in the teaching world…as the teachers out there know. It’s a time that can have some questioning of needing a break, or taking a breath.
So, today is a good day to pat yourself on the back and say, “Good job! Way to get to where you are.” It’s really awesome, and you should be proud of yourself. :-)
Nov 18, 2021 - I am listening to a book right now called "The Extended Mind." Super cool! It's this idea that the activities outside of the mind can help us "extend" the mind. For instance, being in nature, having a comfortable house or office, moving the body and hands. I like that last one....
