Keeping Close Proximity

Sept 2, 2021 - In my return to teaching at UVM, I have had a very different experience than last semester. Without the COVID protocols of social distancing, it feels incredibly normal. It's a real reminder that we need to be around each other, and keeping separate from one another is really hard, and very much against our nature. Of course, we were doing it for good reason, but with all of UVM now vaccinated, it's so great have everyone closer together, and with masks. The masks actually do very little to create any kind of discomfort...they're fine, and it feels good to wear them.
It's just such a reminder that we need each other, and we need each other close by. Hopefully, as all of us get vaccinated everyone can have the experience I'm having at UVM...a feeling of "normal", while keeping each other safe. SO...get a friend and enjoy today's practice together!
