July 26, 2021 - This weekend felt something like what a world beyond COVID would be like. I hung out with friends for a brunch, went with another friend to listen to some music, went for a motorcycle ride, and even did some kayaking — it was a great weekend!
It really felt like SUMMER, and finding a feeling of what post-COVID world could look like. A lot of people have talked about wanting to “get back to normal” after COVID…but, really? Do you really want to do that? I love the idea of moving forward to something new and never going back to normal. I’m excited about a lot more time with others, letting go of some old ways and creating a “new normal.” Why not..if there was an opportunity to do that, this is it.
In class today that is our focus. We repeat the mantra “Let Go” as we practice. Letting go old ways and opening ourselves up to new opportunities. Maybe it’s some aspect of yourself you know you want to let go of, or maybe it’s just a generally feeling of letting go, which feels pretty great. Enjoy our class today!
