Dec. 21, 2021 - Today is Winter Solstice for where I live in Vermont. I'm doing my best to improve my relationship with the winter...well, winter doesn't bother me that much, it's the darkness. So, I found a poem about darkness that the class is based on today:
To Know the Dark by Wendell Berry
To go in the dark with a light is to know the light.
To know the dark, go dark. Go without sight,
and find that the dark, too, blooms and sings,
and is traveled by dark feet and dark wings.
