11-Jan-2022
Jan. 11, 2022 - Last night I was up from around 2am to 3:30am, worrying. I teach at the University and I have classes that start next week, and I have a 3-day yoga teacher training session that starts on Friday. It feels like this oncoming tsunami.
What I have been trying my best to do is more embrace the "tsunami" feeling, rather that to try to completely numb it, or act like it isn't there. Really, I get the feeling because my body is my friend, and it's telling me, "Hey, buddy, school is coming up, time to get ready for it." It's actually a GOOD thing why body is telling me this!
Through practicing yoga I have come to learn that it's ok to feel more than happy all the time. There are other feelings we can learn from and experience as well. Whatever you feeling today, welcome that...and welcome to class. :-)
