May 19, 2021 - This morning I was savoring the incredible beauty of where I live. I was sitting on my back porch looking out at my back yard and the view I have. I live in a condo up on a hill and have an amazing southern view. I get to see the full sunrise over the Green Mountains every night, and can almost see to the Adirondacks as the sun sets. As I look south from my porch, all I see is rolling hills and no houses. It’s amazing to live in such a nice spot, and also so lucky to be living in the beauty of Vermont. No matter where you live in Vermont, beauty is always nearby.
While I was really basking in all the beauty, my neighbor came out and her porch and told that her mom how passed away. It was totally expected, but of course it’s still sad. I viewed it as a reminder that we definitely should savor our lives, where we live, our friends…because is all very temporary and doesn’t really last that long.
Enjoy your day today!
