Feb. 9, 2021 - Teaching has started back up at the University. The whole thing with being a teacher, or a student, is a whirlwind. You go back and forth from students and classes and energy to none of that. It’s quite the rollercoaster.
When school starts back in for me it normally take a few weeks to get on top of it all and figure out how to manage life and time and classes and all of it. What can help for me is practicing “grounding”. Grounding is all about finding a connection to where you are. Doing anything having to with the legs and the feet can help. Also, repeating some sort of phrase to remind yourself of where you are can be good…like “I belong” or “I am here.”
We’ll be finding our grounding in class today…hope you can find the time to fit it in. :-)
