Cast Aside the Ten Thousand Things

Nov. 10, 2021 - I have lots of things on my mind right now, pulling me in many different directions. When I feel that way, my favorite thing is to remember (and practice) a meditation from the Radiance Sutras:
Cast aside the 10,000 things,
And love only one.
Don’t go on to another.
Engage your lively awareness
with this one focus —
One object, one thought, one symbol.

Isn’t that great! A nice remember to focus on one thing, and also, a recognition that people have been dealing with too many things in the mind forever. I’m not the only one. So, with our practice today we’ll be focusing on just that - practice. :-)
