Jan. 5, 2022 - This morning I was having a nice experience before I started class sitting on my bed with my dog. I was petting him, and I naturally closed my eyes and started really experiencing my breath. It was really great.
Today we will focus on a visualization with the breath I really enjoy. Here it is:
As you breath in and out, visual that you are in a orb and it is moving in and out. As you exhale the breath out, the orb goes out. As you inhale the breath in, the orb comes in. Get that all set in your head. Then, imagine another orb, this one more connected to how the body moves as you breath. For this orb, as you inhale visualize this orb expanding, and as you exhale visualize the orb contracting...the opposite of the other orb.
Now, the fun begins. As you breath, visualize these two orbs moving in and out opposite one another. You can image them being different colors if you want. I like to imagine the orbs being all soft and color like lava lamps, which is fun.
