Dec. 8, 2021 - Growing up we were forever trying to get the best reception for our TV. My dad would come home with a variety of different “rabbit ears” antennas that would help in the quest. But, then someone figured out…before the internet…that wrapping aluminum foil around the rabbit ears worked reception miracles! Now we could finally see what was going on behind all that snow that was on the screen.
Yoga is our own personal aluminum foil to get beyond our internal snow and receive better reception of what is on our internal TV set. As you practice, you get a clearer image of who you are today…of what is on your channel. And, who knows, maybe it is a beautiful National Geographic special, or maybe it’s a boxing match, or a comedy, or a thriller. You have no idea until you put on the rabbit ears, wrap them in aluminum foil, and find out.
I hope you’ll tune in and enjoy this fun practice today. :-)

Dec. 2, 2021 - Yesterday a student shared a new song with me from Courtney Barnett - "Write a List of Things to Look Forward To". I like the song, but I like the title even more. Like most people, I've made gratitude lists and thought of things I'm grateful for, but I have to admit, I've never ...
